Today, 30 June 2025, Gucci announced the appointment of Lee Know from Stray Kids as Gucci's new Global Brand Ambassador.
In May 2024, Lee Know attended the Gucci Cruise 2025 collection showcase at the Tate Modern in London UK attired in a Gucci monogram wool suit. The showcase, presented by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, marked Sabato's first cruise collection for the brand having taken over as Gucci's new creative director in January 2024. The period between Lee Know's initial appearance at the showcase and today's announcement marked a long and ardous appointment process due to various leadership changes at Gucci amidst financial turbulence.
“It’s a great honour to be part of Gucci’s visionary journey of creativity,” Lee Know said in the announcement. The house returned the compliment, citing Lee Know's fresh energy and artistic versatility as a perfect match for its creative spirit. Upon receiving the news, Lee Know shared his excitement, “I believe Gucci is a brand that transcends the past and present through heritage and contemporary creativity.”
